Kailua and Lanikai Beach
Kailua Beach, a two-mile stretch of white sandy beach, has been rated the best beach in the world. Kailua Beach Park has a couple of parking lots, showers and restrooms. You can get something to eat at nearby Kalapawai Market or at the shrimp truck parked by the boat ramp. Bob's Pizzaria and Island Snow Shave Ice are also walking distance from Kailua Beach Park.

Adjacent Lanikai Beach with the Mokulua Islands is second to none. Lanikai Beach is accessed through a residential neighborhood. There are no facilities at Lanikai Beach and parking is on the street, but it is definitely worth a visit. Be sure to park legally as the police give out parking tickets almost on a daily basis in this area. Walk down one of the public beach access ways on Mokulua Drive and enjoy!
